Rent Surf was born on the Basque Coast, between the ocean, surfboards, and the desire to travel light.
We’re Cécile and Romain—surf lovers, outdoor enthusiasts, and family adventurers. For years, we chased waves with our boards under our arms. Then the kids came along… and with them, extra bags, extra boards, and increasingly complex logistics.
Flying with multiple boards, dealing with airline fees, the risk of damage, lack of space in the car—we know it all. And at some point, we thought: there has to be an easier way to travel and surf.
That’s how Rent Surf was born.
